AE – Account Executive

AEs liaise with clients on a daily basis and serve as key contacts with members of the media, industry analysts and other key influencers. AEs work with other core team members to develop PR/Marketing plans and ensure the successful and timely completion of projects. AEs have a strong understanding of media relations, a solid network of media contacts and an excellent success rate of placing stories. They also possess strong written verbal communication skills and have experience writing and editing a variety of PR and marketing materials. Active participation in social media is expected and required at this level. AEs will often be responsible for managing components of a client’s social media engagement. This position requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relations
  • Perform media and analyst relations
  • Write a variety of PR and marketing materials including, but not limited to: press releases, pitches, byline articles, case studies and marketing copy for brochures, advertisements, direct mail campaigns and websites
  • Manage speaking and awards programs for clients
  • Play a key role in the development of strategic PR and Marketing plans
  • Manage and oversee client weekly agendas, recap reports, clip and monthly reports
  • Assist with new business research
  • Lead social media engagement for clients and agency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years in Marketing/PR
  • PR, advertising or interactive agency experience preferred
  • Technology and B2B experience highly preferred
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong media and analyst relations skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of social media platforms for business use
  • Team oriented, can-do attitude
  • Able to take the lead on relevant projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Account Director

Account Directors oversee a team of Account Supervisors. The primary role of this position is to manage, counsel and guide the Account Supervisors in matters of account work. The Account Director is the highest-ranking member of the account team and is responsible for managing staff hours, profitability of accounts, account performance, staff performance and high-level client management. The Account Director is also responsible for quality assurance on all work product for the account teams and is central to overall agency management and operations. In addition to his/her regular responsibilities, the Account Director will be tasked with initiating and securing new business activities as well as overseeing aspects of Affect’s own strategic marketing and branding efforts. This senior position requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Requirements
