Strategic Marketing, Communications and Public Relations Firm Demonstrates Continued Growth and Success
NEW YORK -- June 13, 2006 -- Affect Strategies, a public relations and strategic marketing firm, announced two key promotions and two new hires. Receiving promotions are Courtney Chauvin, promoted from Account Supervisor to Director of Public Relations, and Leslie Campisi, promoted from Project Manager to Director of Marketing Programs. Affect's newest team members include Walter Ocner, as an Account Executive and Courtney (CJ) Moore, as an Assistant Account Executive. Affect Strategies' promotions and new hires demonstrate the firm's continued growth and success in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, members of the media and strategic partners as well as internal employees.
As Director of Public Relations, Courtney will oversee and manage Affect's public relations practice. Specifically, Courtney will manage and mentor account teams and maintain and grow client relationships. A key member of Affect's leadership team, Courtney will also initiate and secure new business for the company as well as oversee the public relations activities for Affect Strategies as an agency.
As Director of Marketing Programs, Leslie's primary responsibility includes overseeing the management of all Affect Strategies' marketing projects. Leslie's duties also involve the training and management of marketing teams and developing and maintaining client relationships. A core member of Affect's management team, Leslie is responsible for reviewing and implementing leading-edge technology and marketing programming to help the company maintain a competitive edge.
As a new Account Executive with Affect Strategies, Walter Ocner will liaise with clients on a daily basis and serve as a key contact with members of the media, industry analysts and other key influencers. Prior to joining Affect Strategies, Walter served as Media Relations Coordinator at Multivu, a division of PR Newswire that specializes in broadcast public relations. At Multivu, Walter provided media relations support to clients in a diverse range of industries, including telecommunications, consumer electronics, entertainment and government. Prior to MultiVu, Walter served as Associate Director of Audio Services for Medialink Worldwide, a global leader in broadcast and broadband marketing. Earlier in his career, Walter was a producer and drive-time traffic reporter for Metro Networks in New York City.
As an Assistant Account Executive, CJ Moore will assist with the cultivation and development of public relations initiatives and activities. CJ will also develop media lists, distribute press releases, secure media placement opportunities and conduct new business research. Prior to joining Affect, CJ served as an Investor Relations Intern with Brainerd Communicators. While at Brainerd, he conducted research and edited and distributed press releases for distribution to national and international media. CJ is a recent graduate of Temple University where he earned his B.A. in Public Relations.
