NEW YORK -- October 19, 2009 -- Affect Strategies, a public relations, marketing and social media firm specializing in technology, announced today the expansion of its team.

Chrissy Carney, account supervisor, Kaylen McNamara, assistant account executive and Danielle Modzelewski, assistant account executive, will play important roles in Affect Strategies’ long term plans as the company positions itself for continued growth.
Chrissy Carney brings more than seven years of public relations experience to Affect. Prior to joining the firm, Chrissy worked as an Account Supervisor for HWH PR/New Media. She also spent time at Lou Hammond & Associates, Align Communications and Marketing Systems Group. Chrissy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Political Science from Rutgers University.
Chrissy will be focusing on high level account management and the ongoing development of new business. She will lead Affect’s public relations efforts on the Hoberman, A-List Education and Esprida Corporation accounts.
Kaylen McNamara originally joined Affect as an intern in December of 2008. Kaylen recently graduated from Quinnipiac University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing.
In her new role, Kaylen will support the company’s public relations, marketing and social media efforts for clients such as Proclivity Systems, Esprida Corporation, ASME and the internal public relations efforts for Affect Strategies.
Danielle Modzelewski joins Affect after completing an internship at Weber Shandwick. In this role Danielle conducted extensive media research and worked on awards recommendations for various accounts. She is a recent graduate of Boston College where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art History with a minor in Philosophy.
At Affect, Danielle will be supporting the company’s public relations, marketing and social media efforts for clients such as A-List Education, Absolute Software and the internal public relations efforts for Affect Strategies.
